We place a high priority on people living out of shared purpose and beliefs with strong commitment to continual change, growth, sharing God’s word and caring for creation and humanity.
As such, the Church of Canada aims to:
- unleash the potential of all God’s people with an overarching goal to invest in people, equipping believers for a spirit filled life and making the world a better place;
- facilitate the growth and development of individuals, members of clergies, higher education, church planting and communities towards a culture of quality and biblical principles;
- meet the spiritual needs of our growing community at the intercession of faith, while investing in people for sustainable change;
- discover ways to render spiritual services to treat the untreatable, to reach the unreachable, while putting people first and containing all things good and necessary for salvation;
- equip labourers for the harvest, as such, reaching out in our community to introduce and communicate the full gospel;
- share the gospel with people around the world through proclamation of the Word, celebration of the sacraments, and through service;
- inspiring lives of discerning Christian discipleship within and outside this community;
- be a theological, biblical, pastoral, ethical, historical and Indigenous research centred formation of God’s people and the flourishing of creation;
- respect the dignity of every person;
- strengthen relationships between the people, communities, organizations and the church;
- promote a holistic teaching and learning ministry for both transformative changes, adaptive, continuing, supporting and engaging practical activities;
- encounter God’s image in our neighbour and in all creation;
- encourage biblical and prophetic speech and just action for the love and welfare of humanity;
- encourage learning and scholarship undertaken with diligence and openness;
- strive to enrich society, both materially and spiritually, while contributing towards the preservation of the kingdom;
- maintain Godly principles founded upon love, transparency and openness, conducting our affairs with integrity and fairness to the glory of God;
- expand support and resources for orphanage and maintain missions, missionaries and evangelism work;
- expose the injustice of racism and global economic inequality that separate us all from each other and work to eradicate poverty. As such, take our civic engagements and responsibilities, while advocating for the poor, the needy and social justice serious;
- breakdown generational stronghold and create wealth in the Kingdom for all; and
- be a revival and instrument for change.
