STrategic goals
The Church of Canada strategic goals is to advance and communicate the love of God while continuing to support existing research-oriented programmes dedicated to breaking generational stronghold, protection for environmental and sustainable development, creating economic change, growth and wealth for all. Pray for an end to the destabilizing implication of global food shortage, threats against peace and humanity, energy crisis and economic insecurity. As such:
- Calling everyone to be a blessing for all creation;
- sustain and develop churches, schools, empower humanity and boards who enthusiastically support the vision and mission of the church;
- Create long-term financial strength, stability and confidence in the church with responsible stewardship;
- Increase the churches capacity to use information technologies for teaching, evangelism and research and program outreach with diverse external publics;
- Using innovative solutions and activities to help people realize their God-given potential as uniquely gifted individuals in their family, community and relationship with God through faith;
- Cultivate our relationships with denominations that currently support us and continue ecumenical expansion, locally and worldwide;
- Committed to seeking God in prayer and purpose for the furtherance of the Kingdom;
- Actively work towards empowering and uniting people under the Lordship of Almighty God;
- Raise-up talents and equip people to address the challenges and social issues in society;
- Maintain a support network and mission for the improvement of orphanage worldwide;
- Give to the poor, so they will no longer lives in poverty;
- Affect change and transformed lives in communities with a worldwide reach of fellowship, praise and worship, peace and prosperity, love and unity, spiritual nourishment and prayer to the winning of souls for the Kingdom of God;
- Not only focused on preaching, but focus on the wellbeing and betterment of humanity in a bid to alleviate poverty, defend those who have no help nor voice, and see to the needs of the youths and seniors alike, while making a meaningful and holistic contribution to all areas of communities globally; and
- While undertaking other purposes, be a catalyst and instrument for change.
We believe that there is no greater honour than serving the people; advancing and being an agent for transformational change for the Kingdom of God. The Church of Canada continues to adapt to the changing times, as such, it makes decisions to ensure the public receives the highest level of uninterrupted, quality care and services for its clergies, chaplains, and volunteers as well as other stakeholders. The government of the Church of Canada and its council take actions to serve the public interest and prioritize its decisions making and services with equity in mind, to transforms the lives of both the marginalized and others in the community.
As we go through the process of learning and becoming a better advocate for the long overdue social justice and equity in the religious sector, today we have made good progress towards achieving our strategic priorities and as we continue our revival and pilgrimage, we invite everyone to continue supporting our missions, schools, pastoral changes, chaplaincy and the wider church community, as we dedicate our services towards unleashing human potential, advance the kingdom and building a better society for all.
